Paragon Dance Center is Phoenix’s LARGEST independent studio, offering group and private lessons AND parties SEVEN nights a week with some of the most talented instructors in the world!!!

Every Tuesday evening, instructor Robert Campos, one of the most EXCITING west coast swing pros the west has to offer, is your host for the BEST weeknight dance in Arizona.



Robert (5 time UCWDC Grand Champion) gives a beginner and intermediate lesson, followed by open dancing.

Normal attendance is 130 - and we ALL have a great time!!!

Robert is VERY “hands on” and enjoys dancing with everyone at his events.

Anyone who hasn’t heard the MARVELOUS news that Leslie Bricker & Fred Price recently relocated to Phoenix will be delighted to learn they are now hosting a HOT Thursday night of Hustle dancing EVERY week!!!

 

Leslie and Fred are a great addition to the Paragon dance family. 

Their new Hustle class is growing quickly.

 

Paragon is Ballroom Central on Friday nights! Lonnie Mitchell offers concurrent beginner & intermediate lessons in a variety of ballroom dance styles.

Lonnie is an accomplished local teacher and is on the faculty at Arizona State University.

About 175 people enjoy open dancing on the 4,000 sq. ft. floor every Friday night. There is also a ballroom just for west coast swing.

Chris Matsuno is pictured to the right with Devorah Pashev an instructor at Paragon in a 2-Step Showcase at the Friday Night Ballroom Party. He and Devorah won the UCWDC Pro-AM Open Novice championship in January of this year.


Chris placed 1^st in the Advanced Jack n’ Jill last month at the Toronto Open Swing & Hustle Championships with Canada’s First Lady of west coast swing, Julie Epplett.

Sunday Night is Salsa night! Paragon, together with “Salvaje! Dance Company” host this exciting Latin Fiesta every week!
Enjoy a concurrent Beg/Int/Adv lesson followed by a great salsa night of dancing.

This extremely popular regular event commands an attendance of 175 Salseros.

Perhaps the most EXCITING west coast swing dance of the week, is Mike Gadberry's
Desert City Swing Sundays!!!

Mike does an AMAZING job of bringing WCS Champions regularly to keep our dance current.

Paragon and Desert City Swing has presented such STELLAR champions as Benji Schwimmer, Arjay Centeno, Parker Dearborn, Jason Wayne, Donnie Carl and Luis Crespo.

Desert City Swing Sundays are held at Arthur Murray Studio, located at 1210 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ. The DJ’s are the best in the west and we have a blast!!!

This year the event had to be moved to a larger venue to accommodate the growth of this FUN, RELAXED, YOUTHFUL party that has everyone talking.
